This ground-breaking novel stayed on the best seller list for 100 weeks when it was released, and went to 13 printings in its first year alone. Inscribed to a relative by the author, this early edition includes many newspaper clippings of photographs, interviews, and articles from Lee’s home state that were printed at the time of the book’s publication.
