This is a nice Great Invitation for the Mobile, Al. Mardi Gras organization “Knights of Revelry” for the year 1892. Piece reads, “The Knights of Revelry / Armory hall / Your presence is requested / Mardi Gras Day / March 1st ’92 at 3 o’clock / P.M.”. Piece is 5 1/4 inches by 6 7/8 inches, folded piece with two holes punched at the top. This is from a historic group of Mardi Gras items we have obtained. Invitation is in very good condition, a little dark and corners chipped.
