This is a lovely Great Invitation for the Mobile, Al. Mardi Gras Organization “Knights of Revelry” for the year 1896 ( K.O.R. formed in 1874, and assuming first ball was in 1875 this would be 1896). Piece reads, “Knights of Revelry 21st Anniversary Mobile, Ala.”. Piece is 5 3/4 inches by 7 1/8 inches, and has two holes punched on the side. This is from a nice group of Mardi Gras items we have obtained locally. Invitation is in very good condition, a little etching at the holes.
