This is a wonderful Fish Fork in Sterling and Ivory by Gorham from the 1880s. Fork is 11 1/4 inches long with a scene with a Carp etched in the fork and a medallion of a Japanese Samurai Warrior in the Ivory handle. This piece was made in what is known as the American Aesthetic Movement, during which Gorham produced many varied designs of silver and ivory pieces.
Fork in very good condition with most of its original gold gilt intact.
