An original German film poster by Josef Fenneker.  Created for the Marmorhaus Theater in Berlin in 1922, this poster by much collected graphic artist Josef Fenneker was for the premier of “Der Brennende Acker” (The Burning Soil) by revered director F.W. Murnau, who released “Nosferatu” that same year. Fenneker’s works for Marmorhaus have gained much attention for his work, which exemplifies German Expressionism at its most interesting.
