We are very proud to offer this very rare 1st edition of “The Life and Correspondence of Major-General Sir Isaac Brock, K.B.”, edited by Ferdinand Brock Tupper, and published 1845 by Simpkin, Marshall, and Company, London. Brock was a British Army officer, a general in the war of 1812, and is known for his friendship with the Shawnee tribe and the great chief Tecumseh. He is known as “The Hero of Upper Canada,” and this biography is still in print today. Beautifully rebacked and bound, the book is in Very Fine + condition, it bears an inscription dated 1849.
