This is a terrific book entitled, “A / Collection / Of / All Such / Acts / Of The / General Assembly / Of / Virginia, / Of A Public and Permanent Nature, As / Are Now in Force; / with a / New And Complete Index. / To Which are Prefixed The Declaration of Rights, / And Constitution, or Form of Government.” Published Pursuant to an Act of the Genneral Assembly, / Passed on the Twenty-Sixth Day of January, One / Thousand Eight Hundred and Two. / (written in pencil ’1802′) / Richmond, / Printed By Samuel Pleasants, jun. and Henry Pace. / MDCCC,III. (writen in pencil ’1803′. Book is leather bound, 6 1/2 x 10″ with 434 pages + 72 page Index. These are from the Estate of one “William Fleet” a very prominent resident of “Goshen” Plantation of King and Queen Co. of Virginia. Book has his signature on the front fly page. Other books we will be offering from this estate are, “Laws of the United States of America”, 1796″ – “A Collection of All Such Acts of the General Assembly of Virginia” Richmond 1808 – “The Revised Code of the Laws of Virginia etc”, 1819 Vol. I 7 II – “Supplement to the Revised Code of the Laws of Virginia etc.” 1833. Various names written in these book include, “William Fleet”, “Alexander Fleet”, “James Fleet” and “R. Pollard Jr.” Books are good condition, wear on the spines and corners, some foxing, pages are tight, but does have some that have been folded.
